Lay Scientist Picks
Why I’m The Lay Scientist
I’m The Lay Scientist because no one’s going to mistake me for a credentialed scientist. But under my artist’s hat a constant chatter relates the world I walk through to bits of science I know. I’ve been this way since a biology class eons ago awoke me to the pleasures of reading science facts.
Art is not a hobby. And by preference I keep it free of reasoning. It leaves my verbal brain free to wander at will. My greedy brain has devoured many an article and book — generally life science but certain physics too. Someone else can calculate the car-lengths from here to Alpha Centauri. My native curiosity lifts a lid when a simpatico topic shows its face.
Come and enjoy the pleasures of science and math along with me.
